This is my 3rd year at Montgomery High, and 7th year teaching. I graduated from Texas A&M University with an Undergraduate degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Sports Psychology. In addition to teaching English, I am the Head Girls Basketball Coach and Head Girls Powerlifting Coach. I am very proud to be a Montgomery Bear - it is the best high school in the state! Go Bears!

English I PreAP is designed to prepare you for your future in AP English. As a junior, you will have the opportunity to take the AP Exam and earn up to 6 hours of college credit. This will be of great value to you! The course will be demanding and rigorous, but highly rewarding. Challenges include reading 1-2 novels per six week period, as well as writing each class day with homework between each class period. You were smart when you came into my class; you will be brilliant when you leave!
