Dear Montgomery High School Parents and Students:
Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! We are looking forward to another great year at the Home of the Bears! We are in the final stages of preparation to welcome over 1830 students on August 25th. We are proud to have added several new, highly qualified staff members to our prestigious staff.
We are in exciting times in MISD and at Montgomery High School. The district is in the middle of three construction projects that will benefit high school students. The 9th Grade Campus is well underway, while construction for the Natatorium and the Agricultural Science facilities will begin soon. The high school staff has been and will continue to be heavily involved with these projects. The three projects are on schedule to be ready for use in the fall of 2009.
I am proud to serve as principal of MHS during this time of tremendous growth. I look forward to working with students and staff as we meet the challenges of a growing district. I hope that you had a restful summer and are excited about the new school year. We are proud of our school district and look forward to celebrating many successes this year.
