Montgomery High School seeks academic excellence for each student to pursue a productive and fulfilling life through a balanced curriculum aligned with quality instruction and assessment of achievement. We offer a rigorous curriculum integrated with real-world experiences. Students are provided with a firm grounding in the core content areas while independent and critical thinking skills, as well as oral and written expression, are emphasized. Advanced Placement courses challenge all students to meet high expectations. One of our goals is to provide differentiated instruction that meets the wide range of student learning. Teachers use a variety of instructional strategies and methods of assessment, thus providing students with multiple opportunities to learn and demonstrate understanding and mastery of the material. Additionally teachers infuse technology into instruction, so that students learn and practice skills that will serve them in the future. To address students’ needs we provide collaboration among teachers, staff, students, and parents, an environment that is both physically and emotionally safe, support programs for students to enhance growth, and professional development for staff.
