I am beginning my 10th year at Montgomery High School. I am originally from New Jersey and have lived in Texas for 12 years. This year I will been teaching Algebra 1 and two dual credit courses: Math 1314: College Algebra and Math 1316: College Trigonometry. Over the past 9 years I have taught IPC, Chemistry, Algebra 1, Geometry, TAKS Science, AP Statistics, Foundations for College Mathematics, Dual Credit College Algebra - Math 1314, Dual Credit College Trigonometry - Math 1316, and Trailer Algebra 1. I am also the Faculty Sponsor of the MHS Interact Club and the UIL Academic Coordinator.
Credentials
I am certified in Secondary Mathematics, Secondary Biology, Secondary Chemistry, and Secondary Physical Science. I earned my BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. My MS is in Animal Science / Animal Breeding from Kansas State University. My PhD is in Animal Breeding and Genetics with minors in Statistics and Education from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Before coming to MHS, I taught at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. I am currently employed as an adjunct professor of Math at Lone Star College - Montgomery.
