Welcome to the 2008-09 school year, and the HOME OF THE MONTGOMERY BEARS!

Sophomore English will focus on grammar and usage, all genres of literature, SAT vocabulary prep,the research paper and TAKS strategies! English CAN BE fun!!!!!

1 large - 3 ring binder
post-it notes(note-taking)
2 - Hi-lighters(different colors)
Divider tabs
1 box of Kleenex

This class consists of Student Council Officers, Class Officers and committee chairs. Students will learn how to become effective leaders in their community and life by working together on many projects throughout the year! We will focus on community service projects, Lone Star Honor Flight, safety and drug awareness, organizing school events and building school spirit! We will also focus on organization skills, and proper meeting procedures. This class rocks!

Student Council is the 1st form of government that a student is exposed to. We are the spirit and connection of MHS. We work with administration to make great things happen at MHS. If you are interested in working to make MHS the best that it can be, please attend Stu-Co meetings on Wednesday mornings @7:00. Listen for announcements.
