Heather Orr, Head Director
Heather Orr is beginning her eighth year as the Head Choir Director at Montgomery High School and fourteenth year teaching. She holds a Master of Arts in Vocal Pedagogy from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Heidelberg College. 

Mrs. Orr's choirs consistently earn Sweepstakes at UIL Competitions and choirs under her direction have been recognized with First Divisions and Best in Class awards at several festivals in Texas, Florida and New York. Mrs. Orr is selected yearly as a member of "Who's Who Among America's Teachers” “Who’s Who Among American Women” and was recognized by TMEA with a scholarship towards a doctorate degree. She has served as TMEA All-State Treble Choir Section Leader in 2006 and in 2003, TCDA New Music Presenter, as well as host and clinician for many TMEA and UIL events. Mrs. Orr's professional affiliations include TMEA, TCDA, ACDA and TMAA. Currently, she is the TMEA Region 9 Vocal Region Chairman.

In 2005, Mrs. Orr directed the Montgomery High School Chorale Women in their first appearance at TMEA. 

Heather resides in Montgomery with her husband Will. Together, they have four children, 11 year old twin girls, Carly and Abby; 10 year old son, Christopher; and 6 year old daughter, Claire Elizabeth.

Joseph Bansuelo, Assistant Director
Joseph Bansuelo is beginning his second year at Montgomery High School. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance degree.

While in college, Mr. Bansuelo served as Chorus Master for the MSU Opera Program and assistant musical director for the Wichita Theatre.

As Assistant Director at MHS, Mr. Bansuelo leads the Madrigal Women, Treble Choir, JV Men's Choir and teaches the AP Music Theory course. Mr. Bansuelo’s professional affiliations are TMEA, TCDA and ACDA.

Joey resides in Montgomery, TX and loves the community.
