72 women on each voice part will advance to the Region audition.
Once a student "makes" District...they advance to the Region Audition.
District Fees are paid by MISD.

Klein Forest HS

Dona Nobis Pacem for boys

The following students advance to Region Weekend:
Chairs 1-18 in all voice parts advance to the mixed choir and proceed to the Pre-Area audition.
Chairs 19-25 in all voice parts advance to the mixed choir but do not advance to the pre-area audition.
Chairs 26-50 in the women’s sections advance to the treble choir.
Two alternates will be called to the Mixed (Chairs 26 and 27) and Treble Choir (Chairs 51 and 52).

Friday - Rehearsal at Spring HS
Saturday - Rehearsal and Concert at The Woodlands United Methodist Church

There are 3 performing Choirs. Mixed Choir - chairs 1-25 SATB
Treble Choir - chairs 26-50 SSAA
Honor Choir - Director chosen SATB

The Woodlands HS
Audition selections are:

Cantate Domino

Students will sight-read at this audition.
Sight-reading accounts for 20% of the total score.
Chairs 1 - 5 in all voice parts advance to the Area audition.
Chairs 6 and 7 in each voice part are designated as alternates to the Area audition.

Midland HS - Waco, TX
Audition selections are:
Cantate Domino - O'Reagan
Dona Nobis Pacem - Bach

Chairs 1-4 in all sections advance to the All-State Mixed Choirs.
Chairs 5-8 in the men’s sections advance to the All-State Men’s Choir.
Chairs 5-10 in the women’s sections advance to the All-State Women’s Choir.

MISD covers all audition fees.
