Bienvenidos al primer semestre de español por año segundo. Welcome to the first semester of Spanish for second year students. Estamos preparándonos oír y repetir, escuchar y responder, ver y escribir al nivel intermedio. We are preparing to hear & repeat, listen & reply, see & write at the intermediate level. Vamos a estudiar mucha cultura y gramática para mantener listos. We're going to study a lot of culture and grammar in order to stay ready. Lo principal tenemos la meta de comunicar en español lo más posible. Our main goal is to communicate in Spanish as much as possible. ¡Vengan con ganas! Come along and bring a willing attitude!

All students need to practice Spanish outside of class for 10 -15 minutes per day. Learning a foreign language is memory-intensive and cumulative. The lessons and vocabulary learned last week are used to proceed today. Gaps in understanding become detrimental to future success, so the student should strive for permanent memory retention by utilizing all the tools supplied by the teacher.

For those students with access to the internet, no textbook will be required! We will have complete access to all activities and homework ONLINE!
