 My name is Laura Crow, and this year I am teaching algebra 2, advanced algebra 2, and TAKS math (in the spring). I am also the junior varsity cheerleading coach.
My most recent alma matter is Sam Houston State University - Go Bearkats. I graduated in 2004 with a Master of Arts in Math. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Math from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and an Associate in Science in Math from Alvin Community College. I earned my lifetime Texas Educator Certificate as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher in 1997.
I am also AACCA certified for spirit safety and risk management in cheerleading. I have taken several NFHS spirit education courses and am currently working toward Bronze level NFHS spirit credentials.
I have 12 years teaching experience and have had the pleasure of teaching at Montgomery High School for the last 3 years. Prior to that I taught in Conroe ISD at Oak Ridge HS, in Klein ISD at both Klein Collins HS and at Doerre Intermediate, and in Sheldon ISD at CE King HS. While at Klein Collins HS, I was the freshman squad cheerleading coach.
I am excited for the 2008-2009 school year and look forward making a difference in the life of your child.
