The 2007-2008 Bear Golf Teams had another fine year with a 2nd place finish at the District 18-AAAA Tournament. The Bears advanced to the Region III Tournament and finished in 7th place. Kelsey Eargle was named to the Texas High School Golf Coaches Academic All-State Team.

The 2007-2008 Lady Bear Golf Teams finished 2nd and 4th at the UIL State AAAA Golf Championships held at Jimmy Clay Golf Course. The Lady Bear Purple Team was led by Lisa McCloskey (Gold Medalist and 1st Team All-State for the 2nd year in a Row). Other Purple Team members were Karisma Smith, Allison LaRoche, Bria Tate and Marrisa Bransburg. The Gold Team had it's highest finish ever at state with their 4th place showing. Leading the Lady Bears was 2nd Team All-State team member Krissy Teran. Other Gold Team members were Paige Gould, Abby Corson, Kendall Hubbard, and Katy Kile. Alternates for state were Betsy Eargle and Madison Liston. Making the Texas High School Golf Coaches Association All State Academic Team were Bria Tate, Lisa McCloskey, Kendall Hubbard, Karisma Smith, Paige Gould, Allison LaRoche, and Krissy Teran
