English II Pre- AP
Summer reading list
In order to cover all the material needed for class and to prepare you for the rigorous course work for Advanced Placement, summer reading has become an integral part of the program. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Obasan by Joy Kogawa are the required readings for English II Pre AP. This mandatory reading will be reviewed with supplemental material when classes begin in August. It would be to your advantage to have read the books before the start of the semester. Students will be tested over the books two weeks after classes begin. I look forward to working with you next year.
